Cayman Islands may not be the most popular port in the Caribbean, however, it does hold a good variety of tourists attractions that are not enjoyable but also unique including:

Stingray City

Stingray city is the most popular attraction in Cayman Islands. It is the place to go if you want to rub elbows with friendly stingrays and get the chance to feed them. For those wary of swimming or snorkeling with the sea creatures you can still have a good look at them from the safety of a glass bottom boat.

Cayman Turtle Farm

The Cayman Islands was originally named Las Tortugas due to the huge number of turtles on the island. The turtle population was almost depleted by the 1800s giving rise to the Cayman Turtle Farm, whose primary function is to raise green sea turtles.

Thanks to the Cayman Turtle Farms’ breeding, release, and research programs the green sea turtles now are safe from over production. Green sea turtles are still bred for their meat but the release of turtles also ensure their numbers stay stable.

Of course tourists also enjoy visiting the farm to see and even sponsor the turtles.

Other not so exotic yet equally enjoyable attractions in the Cayman Islands include:

Cayman Islands National Museum

Queen Elizabeth II Botanical Park

Cayman Taffy Company - Great place to stop for treats and a fun time for kids too

Island Glassblowing Studio - Great place to stop for souvenirs

The Caribbean islands are known worldwide for their great tourism industry and are ready to welcome tourists anytime of the year.

The Caribbean Islands is one of the most popular vacation destinations in the world. Whatever the season may be the Caribbean is a perfect place to visit since the climate of the islands varies from subtropical tropical, which means relatively warm weather all year round.

One way you can narrow down your choices is simply by considering your interests. Each island is famous for some particular activity, food, or attraction.

Figure out what your top priority is and pick the island which will best suit you. For example Bermuda, Jamaica, and Saint Lucia are popular among couples. Families on the other hand seem to prefer Bahamas and Aruba.

Lesbians and gays will not feel to welcome in all the Caribbean Islands but will surely have a blast in Puerto Rico, where discrimination is not allowed, Saint Lucia, and Martinique.

Partygoers will love the hopping nightlife at Barbados, Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico, while those into casinos and gaming should head for Paradise Island (Atlantis Resort), Aruba, and Puerto Rico.
